This Church acknowledges the fact that any person who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and is drawn into a life of discipleship with fellow Christians, is a member of the Church Universal, even though he may never formally join an organized, local church. However, we also believe that fellowship in the Church Universal is most meaningful and productive as a person binds himself openly and unreservedly in covenant with a specific, local congregation.
